X-37 Winner of all 3 classes

Winner Overall - X-37 ”Carpantxo”

Jesús Pintos Ager won overall as well as the Amateur Class in the II IMS 670 World Championship organized by the Real Club Náutico de El Puerto de Santa Maria in Spain. Second Overall was the X-37 “Turismo Madrid, skippered by Olympic medalist Van der Ploeg. Both teams were among the strongest teams during the whole season. There were 32 yachts in the fleet racing eight races in seven days.

It was a strong team skippered by Van der Ploeg coming 1st in the Professional Class of the IMS 670 Worlds.

Winner Amateur Class - X-37 ”Carpantxo”

The X-37 “Carpantxo” was also the unrivalled leader in the Amateur Class. Second was another X-37 “Ourense” with a team skippered by Carlos Cortinas.
