New X-35 European Champion 2010:

DRS.X of Cees Wieringa is the new European Champion X-35, well followed by second place Torsten Bastiansen with team Xen and third place was for Morten Ulrikkeholm with the DEN 7 team.
 




X-35 World Championship in 2010

New International Class Chairman
 

The new Italian Chairman has been elected for 2010: Alessandro Solerio, who became World Champion with his Lelagain last year at Kieler Woche (see photo).

 

As this year´s World Championship is hosted by Italy, Alessandro will also be International Chairman for the X-35. Congratulations Alessandro!

Denmark (Aarhus) will host X-35 World Championship in 2011

Among four proposed venues, the ISAF recognized X-35 class has chosen to run the 2011 world championship on the Bay of Aarhus in Denmark. This will be the first time the X-35 class will be running a world championship in Denmark. Organizers will be Sailing Aarhus, who also hosted the 2008 ISAF Youth World Championship.
